Chiropractor

Angela Thone D.C.

Dr. Angie Thone (formerly Dr. Angela Denkinger) sees patients of all ages, including infants, children, and adults. She has a strong interest in treating patients with chronic pain. She also enjoys caring for pregnant women and treating infants. Dr. Angie uses very gentle techniques, and has been in practice since 2004.

She gets great results by often combining chiropractic, acupuncture, electrical muscle stim, therapeutic exercises and stretches, nutrition and supplementation.

She holds postdoctoral certifications in Pediatrics and Acupuncture and is also NBCE Board Certified in Acupuncture. She and her husband, Dr. Jacob Thone, have practiced together in Norfolk since 2005. She and her husband have three children and one beloved fur baby.

Dr. Angie is a native of the Norfolk area. She earned her Doctorate of Chiropractic Medicine and Acupuncture Certification at Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, MN. Dr. Angie held a private practice in St. Paul, MN before returning to Norfolk to practice in 2005.

Jacob Thone D.C.

Dr. Jake Thone treats various injuries to the spine and extremities. He specializes in work-related injuries, auto accidents, and other musculoskeletal conditions. As a former college athlete, Dr. Thone knows how to treat sports-related injuries effectively.

Dr. Thone works with patients to tailor treatments to their needs and wants. He utilizes acupuncture, electrical muscle stimulation, traction, chiropractic adjustments, therapeutic exercise, and various soft tissue techniques to help patients regain their function.

Dr. Thone obtained his Doctor of Chiropractic Medicine in 2002 at Northwestern Health Sciences University. In 2023, he received a master's in Functional and Integrative Nutrition from NWHSU. He has a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology. In 2024, Dr. Thone attained advanced certification from Harvard Medical School Executive Education for Health and Wellness: Designing a Sustainable Nutrition Plan. He currently serves on the Executive Board of the Nebraska Chiropractic Physicians Association.

Chiropractor

Jon McManaman D.C.

Dr. Jon McManaman treats a broad range of patients and conditions, ranging from infants to elderly and every age in between. He specializes in treating over-use type injuries and has a strong interest in sports injury and pediatric care. Dr. McManaman is able to get great results by combining chiropractic care and soft tissue techniques that treat both the muscle and the joint.

Utilizing therapeutic exercise, traction, electrical muscle stimulation, soft tissue techniques and chiropractic adjustments, Dr. McManaman is able to get patients back to living a more pain-free life faster. Dr. McManaman is a native of the Norfolk area. He currently resides in Norfolk with his wife Ashley and their two children.

Prior to joining A Center For Chiropractic, Dr. McManaman practiced in Northeast Nebraska for 3 years. Dr. McManaman is board certified by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners. He obtained his Doctorate of Chiropractic at Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, MN.

Massage Therapist

Amber Hammer

Amber Hammer fills many roles at A Center for Chiropractic. She is a Licensed Massage Therapist and Certified Clinical Chiropractic Assistant. She performs relaxation, deep tissue and pregnancy massage therapy. She also assists with patient therapies, rehab, the front desk and with patient accounts and billing. She received her Massage Therapy training at Siouxland College of Massage.

Caitlyn Hitz

Caitlyn grew up on a farm outside of Battle Creek, NE. After graduating from Battle Creek High School in 2019, she went to Northeast Community College for her generals. She currently goes to Southeast Community College out of Lincoln where she is pursuing a career as a Radiologic Technologist and plans to graduate in December of 2022.
